 Just happened upon your page while searching for something else. I'll never get those horrible, horrible images out of my head. If I didn't believe there's a special place in Hell for those that abuse the defenseless (small animals, children and the elderly) I probably wouldn't be able to sleep at night, ever. EU afskaffer retten til at forbyde grusom slagtemetode

Dansk Folkepartis medlem af Europa-Parlamentet, Mogens Camre, er rystet over, at parlamentet i dag med et stort flertal har besluttet at fratage medlemsstaterne retten til at forbyde rituel slagtning af dyr, som ikke er bedøvede. Han opfordrer den danske regering til at gå sine egne veje i sagen.
- Afstemningen i dag betyder, at vi ikke kan forbyde, at dyr – herunder store pattedyr som køer – fastspændes, hænges op med hovedet nedad, får halspulsåren skåret over og dør ved langsom forblødning. Det er et utilgiveligt knæfald for en barbarisk muslimsk tradition, som intet har med religion at gøre, siger Mogens Camre.

- Europa-Parlamentet har igen bevist, at dets flertal ikke vil forsvare europæisk kultur, men bøjer sig for de barbarer, som hver dag sætter mere af dagsordenen i Europa. Europa-Parlamentets flertal er holdningsløst, når det gælder hele forholdet til den kultur, som har gjort Europa til et højtudviklet område, siger Mogens Camre.

- Jeg opfordrer den danske regering til ikke at tillade, at dyr slagtes uden at være bedøvet. Vi skal ikke lade os dirigere af et stadig mere centraldirigeret EU, som handler uden folkelig opbakning, siger Mogens Camre

    Hallo lieve Bent,
    Ik ben net op je nieuwe site geweest die je gemaakt hebt speciaal voor de dieren.
    Een heel goed iniatief vind ik.
    Zelf heb ik niet alle pagina,s durven openen omdat ik weet welke gruwelijkheden mij te wachten staan.
    De een kan het eens zijn met de zeehondenjacht, en de ander is er tegen.
    Zo hebben sommige landen hond op de menukaart staan, wat wij weer vreselijk vinden.
    Wij daarintegen eten konijn, varken, koe, kip enz, wat anderen weer vreselijk vinden.
    In Spanje zijn weer stieren gevechten waar wij van gruwelen, en anderen vinden het een pracht show.
    Zo zijn er talloze voorbeelden, en iedereen heeft hier een andere mening over .
    Ik ben van mening dat dierenmishandeling op welke manier dan ook, verboden moet zijn.
    Zeehonden dood knuppelen, dieren op religieuze manieren slachten ,hormoon fokkerijen, bont en pelsdier fokkerijen, enz enz is het veroorzaken van onnodig dierenleed.....
    Dat kan op andere manieren, of is soms helemaal niet nodig .
    In het jaar 2009 is een bontjas not-done, en wil men steeds gezonder leven, dus geen hormoon vlees meer.

     Det er dejligt at høre fra dig hver gang, selv om det ikke er lige hyggeligt det som man ser på disse sidder, her tænker jeg på alle de grufulde beretninger om dyremishandling og vanrøgt. Jeg må ærligt tilstå at nogle af dem gør mig dårligt tilpas,ja nærmest syg.
    Det er så frustrerende at læse om,og man erkender sin afmagt, for det er jo sket når vi erfarer det..
    Men hvis ingen gør opmærksom på dette uhyrlige ,som ganske mange mennesker jo ikke aner noget om, så bliver næste genneration endnu mere kyniske. Tak for at Du gør en indsats for vore animalske venner. Gid du må få den annerkendelse du virkelig fortjener, om ikke før så i det hinsides.

    I have been exactly on your new site which you have made especially for the animals.
    A complete good finds iniatief I.
    Itself does not have I all page, s dare open because I weet which gruwelijkheden me stand to wait.
    Can agree with seal hunting, and the other one is there against.
    Thus some have countries dog on the menu card stand, what we find terrible.
    We daarintegen eat rabbit, pig, cow, chicken etc., what finds others terrible.
    In Spain stieren fightings are where we are horrified of, and others find it a splendour show.
    This way there are innumerable examples, and everyone has about this another opinion.
    I believe that animal maltreatment on which manner must be prohibited thus, be.
    Seals dead bludgeon, animals in religious manners slaughter, hormone fokkerijen, bont and pelsdier fokkerijen, etc. etc. causing unnecessary animal suffering is .....
    That is possible in other manners, or is sometimes not at all necessary.
    In the year 2009 a fur coat not-done, and wants one always healthier live, therefore no hormone flesh more is.

    Dear Bent Bay,  Thank you for your letter.  Please feel free to use my letter on your site!  In fact, I see that you have already placed it on your site.  I think it looks wonderful.  I have been so sad over the fate of the millions of little seals.  I expressed my deep sadness in this letter.  I hope it will prompt many more people to support our cause, that of ending this vicious slaughter of baby seals forever.  Keep up your good work!  Kindest regards, Bev Stayart

    Geoff Regan, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, guarantees that as much as 98% of the seals “taken” in the annual hunt will be killed humanely. (Geoff says 98% is perfectly acceptable). That means since he's authorized the slaughter of over 300,000 seals, 6,000 defenseless seal pups will be brutally butchered. That's within the 6%, but is that acceptable?  OH! Canada

    Good Day Sir; I have been visiting your web site for some time. But I do not Agree with you about the seal hunt.. I come from PEI in Atlantic, Canada. Seals have been hunted for about 400 years hear, If you only new how quick they multiply, if you only knew how much fish they heat. If you only knew how much Waste they put in the water from there WASTE (shit) this cause the parasites worms & such to go in the remaining fish. If you can get fresh fish it is full of worms. they have to put fish fillets under lights & pick out the worms,I have bought fish in supermarket with worms crawling around in it.THIS Comes from SEAL SHIT.
     
    Like everything else they have to be controlled or they will destroy the environment.  They tear the nets all to hell they take pieces of fish out of nets. they are very destructive..  If you are going to tell  be sure to tell THE REST OF THE STORY,, I think may be we should go in the slaughter house to show all people where the Stake, Hamburg & pork chops comes from
     
    I would say GROW UP be realistic in this cruel world, it will not get better but get worst, Man Ucked everything up that he ever came in contact with. Man can not Manage anything  without DEVINE REVELATION FROM A POWER GREATER THAN HIMSELF. this power is ALMIGHTY GOD...

    Blaine Kerr er er fornuftig mand, og han har faktisk ret enten man kan lide det eller ej. Jeg for mit vedkommende er ihvertfald på linie med ham.
    Det med at skyde baby sælerne ville jo være det samme som at stoppe jagten/drabene på dem. Hvis der er et skudhul i skindet er det intet værd i handel.
    Jeg ved godt det lyder grimt og egoistisk, men sådan er verden altså skruet sammen.
    Jeg ved at fiskerne fra Virksund og op til Lovns Bredding, på alle mulige måder forsøger at udrydde så mange sæler som overhovedet muligt. Der er simpelthen for mange, og sælerne gør som i Canada, ødelægger fiskernes garn og æder de fisk der er både i og udenfor nettene. Tak for din mail.     Last week, I watched the barbaric clubbing of one of the first baby seals killed on Canada's ice floes this season. My name is Rebecca Aldworth, and I've been in Canada leading a skilled and dedicated team of professionals from The Humane Society of the United States. We've been documenting the awful abuses and violations of Canada's own regulations by those who hunt the seals. I can't even begin to describe to you the plight of these helpless seal pups as they are callously slaughtered right in front of each other.

    How great that you are also caring about the killing of the seals.....isn't it a nightmare?? How can people be so cruel, I just don't get it, no respect for life at all just unbelievable, makes me sick just to think about that....
    I am a member of a few great organisations to protect animals from these beasts, one of them is friends of animals, maybe you can link them up as well. I have send them your e-mail adress to join them as well (no costs), they invite you now and then to send e-mails to governments to protest against the killing of wolves, the seals and so on. If you don't want to join just throw it away!
    We'll keep in touch my friend, I am sending the e-mail about the seal killings to everyone I know.....let's just hope we can help........ Love from Shannah

    Dear  Bent,
     
    I got a letter from the dutch Ifaw and they told me that tonight 2 programs on dutch television, are showing the killings of the seals!
    People from our gouverment have seen the killings with their own eyes and they are horrified!
    I hope Holland will boycot Norway and Canada totally!
    I'm not gonna see this (I think), since I can not bare to see the killings again....
    Please keep your fingers crossed and let's hope the rest of the world will follow Holland!
    I wrote a letter (cry for help more likely!) to the Canadian Prime Minister and to our own President!
    Dear friends, I will keep you up to date with more news, whenever I can, ok?

    Jeg har lige været ind og se din flotte nye side om baby sæler.  (jeg skal lige have vendt mine hjerneceller inden jeg eventuelt skriver under på en protest mod jagt på baby sæler).
     
    Det er en lidt barbarisk måde de dræber de baby sæler på, og jeg er ikke tilhænger af metoden, men rødt blod på hvid is/sne ser jo dramatisk ud.
     
    Jeg sidder imidlertid og tænker tilbage på halvfjerdserne hvor Brigit Bardot næsten tog livet af mange fangersamfund på Grønland. Det var simpelthen umuligt at sælge et sælskind, og da det var fangernes eksistensgrundlag var det en katastrofe for dem.
     
    På Grønland jager man ikke baby sæler som man gør i Canada, New Foundland, Norge osv. Grønlænderne jager voksne sæler som udgør en stor del af deres føde og eksistensgrundlag.
    MEN uvidende folk rundt om i verden blandede baby sæler og voksne sæler sammen som æbler og pærer. Resultatet var katastrofalt.
    Nå, som sagt skal jeg lige tænke lidt nærmere over den protestskrivelse om baby sæler, inden jeg evnt. gør noget ved det.
     
    (jeg kan jo eventuelt spørge fiskerne i det østlige Canada - på Prince Edwards Island, som jo er afhængige af indkomsten fra sælfangsten).
     
    NB.
    Nu håber jeg ikke du tager denne mail som et personligt angreb, men blot som et indlæg for eller imod den aktuelle debat om sælfangst.

    Det er bare 10 år siden hele verden stiltiende så til, mens næsten en million mennesker i løbet af bare tre måneder blev dræb med køller og andre primitive våben, i en avanceret stammekrig mellem hutuer og tutsier i Rwanda.  (Den krig er ikke forbi endnu, men nu hører man bare ikke om det mere).
     
    Somalia, Eritrea, Zimbabwe med deres autoritære leder Robert Mugabe, osv. osv. Jo der er faktisk nok af emner at tage op og lave en underskriftsindsamling på.
